Night time view of the 54 story tall Roppongi Hills Mori Tower (Tokyo, Japan). At its base sits an iconic spider sculpture in Roku Roku Plaza. The 10m bronze sculpture call "Maman" is the work of French-born artist Louise Bourgeois. The spider carries marble eggs in its belly and is the artist's tribute to her mother. A series of several such spiders exist around the world - there's one at the Tate Modern and another at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
Shot at twilight using the Panasonic GF1 and the humble 14-45 kit lens at it's widest setting. The photo was taken handheld, but my hands were braced against a nearby bench.
