Verboten

Taken in Kensington Gardens on a bright autumn day. This was originally shot in colour, and then retouched on a computer. The pavement actually wasn't too far away from the black & white monotone it is now. However, I've enhanced the red ring of the no cycling sign to make it stand out more. During retouching, special care was made to ensure that the ring's colour goes "under" the leaf. This enhances the 3 dimensional effect of the scene.

Some improvements... the preferences page is complete, and the navigation is very nifty. Also, photo uploads are now linked to the database. It is also possible to assign a photo to which day you want it featured on via a javascript calendar. The work flow is so slick that you've really gotta see it to believe.

Duane, I think you need to darken the text on this page. I can hardly make them out on some screens I've worked on. Particularly the buttons on the left.

Another thing that would be nice (as I have with www.alakija.com) is an email facility which is sent once a comment is made in the blog.

Also the addition of a URL field in the comments form is required. You want to know the URL's of people who have blogs when they send you a comment. People love to see and know the work of the critique too!
