Like many of my shots, this one was taken in Kensington Gardens. There
are a lot of birds and waterfowl there. I've tried to blur the
background to focus attention on the seagull. This is a "typical"
seagull - very loud and agressive. Whenever I go to the park to feed
the waterfowl, the seagulls try to get more than their fair share. They
do this by forcefully bumping the ducks aside whilst squaking loudly. I
guess you've got to be like that to survive on the high seas. In other
news, if you're looking into buying a new DSLR camera, I recommend
waiting until the end of February. There's rumours of 2 new Canon
cameras - a 10 megapixel EOS-35D to replace the current EOS-20D, and a
6.3 megapixel EOS-3000D to target the budget end of the market. Stay
tuned for more details.
