In the spotlight
One of my friends, Atul, taken during his band concert at the college
union. It was very dark, having the ambience of a night club. However,
there was a lone stage spotlight that illuminated his face and very
little else. In my opinion, this helps focus the viewer on him, and
eliminates all the other distractions. Do you like it, or are the
shadows too strong on this one? For the techies today, you might be
interested to know that Sony has announced a CMOS sensor that has pixel
sites rotated at a 45 degree angle. Sounds familiar? It should, because
Fuji has already done this for many years now (SuperCCD). They claim
this improves resolution by 1.4x. Let's hope we see new cameras based
on this design real soon.
