The Sainte Chapelle in Paris, France. It is reknown for it's extensive
amount of stain glass that depicts over a thousand biblical scenes. The
photo was taken handheld, since tripods were not allowed on the venue.
When I was queuing to enter the Chapelle, there was a group of tourists
in the queue behind me. When they saw my camera, they started talking
to each other about how they used to have a camera as big as THAT, and
thankfully not anymore. They couldn't imagine lugging THAT around and
have since "advanced" on to smaller more compact devices. The way the
said it was in such a demeaning tone, and it annoyed me quite a bit.
Well, the result of the big camera are here for everyone to see... I do
wonder what they got. ;)
=-= Anyone a music buff? =-=
Not sure if anyone here is into music - if you are, this maybe
interesting. I got a pair of Etymotic 6i Isolator earphones today. Wow,
the noise isolation is great. When you put it on, it reduces outside
noise significantly, allowing you to play music at a lower volume. This
is really useful now that people are starting to discover that iPods
are damaging their hearing. As for the sound quality, the Etymotic's
treble is clear and crisp without being harsh. However, the bass lacks
depth. Not that it's bad, but Sennheisers easily rule here.
