Ridges

Ok, finally an update from me after a few days of absence. I've been somewhat caught up with flat hunting for some time now. Thanks for your patience and continuing to come back to visit my photoblog, I really appreciate it.

Here's textures from a wall in Canary Wharf. I was on the way to view some flats when I spotted this. The photo was taken from just about 1 cm away from the wall, so everything is much larger than in real life. The original colour was a dull green, but I decided to give it a blue tint - looks more attractive to me. But maybe personal taste varies, and you might prefer the original green instead.

What's your favourite colour?

Welcome back! :-D

You are the uncrowned king of abstract pictures!

I don't really have a favourite colour, any colour can be made to look either ordinary or fantastic... it really depends on what its's placed next to! That has alway been my artistic challenge! :-D

I like this... especially the selective area of focus.
Nice shot. Great abstract. You wouldn't be able to tell what the subject is without your backstory. Regards.
Entertains the eye very well...good abstract and I like the colour choice.
Blue is mine...but I somehow find myself with a lot of green. Not sure why.

Great shot Duane.

Me too like Micki, I thought it was a snow scene at first, I like tricky photos, very well done smile
I like blue. I also like how the highlights are concentrated at the focal point.

Great capture. Like I said in another comment. I never see stuff like this, but it's all around me.

Looks like sand, it is a great shot. I keep looking at it.
Interesting pattern: it looks like ripples on a sand dune through a blue filter.
It dose have a sand ripple feel. Green rules! but this is accepyable ;-)

Very interesting capture. It reminds me of the side "foam board" you see in recording studios. It gives off a retro feel to me, which I always dig. Regards.
Lovely shot!
