Regus City Point

By camera phone - Part V

Here's another colour shot taken from the Sony Ericsson K800i. This building is where the graduate trainees at my company are being sent for classes.

This shot was taken in the morning when I was on the way in to work, and is one of the first shots I took with this camera phone. Unfortunately, I was trying to economise on memory space at that time. So it was shot at only 1 megapixel resolution. That's ok for photoblog use, but I won't be able to make large prints of this shot. Moral of the story: always shoot at the maximum resolution available on your camera!

More more! Heehee. Anyway, the IQ really does look very good for a cameraphone. At this size I think it's pretty hard to tell this apart from even a DSLR. Dynamic range seems really good too.
The Maven: For web use, there's not much difference in image quality. However, when viewed at 100% size, the difference is quite obvious. It's not so much the issue of noise, but rather the quality of the edges.
That's from a camera phone?! Damn... I was thinking of getting that phone too.. wow... smile Nice...
The Maven: Thanks for your comments Visual Vault. smile Yep, it's more or less straight out of a camera phone with very little retouching done (only some auto-levels).
