Glass reflections

By camera phone - Part IX

Another shot of City Point, the building where I'm currently attending a training course (accounting - yawn!). There is an atrium on one side of the building, with a few restaurants covered by the structure shown in the picture. The atrium is quite a few stories high, with the walls covered with glass, and the roof being the bright parts in the scene.

Here you can see the dynamic range of the camera phone is maxed out and highlight detail of the ceiling is blown out in placed. Not sure how well a normal camera would have done - it's quite a challenging scene in either case.

The master has returned smile
The Maven: You are much too kind Skee. Though I'm not sure if I keep up posting a new shot every day. Work is kind of intensive at the moment. Having the camera phone helps - so I don't need to spend time deliberately going out to get shots for the blog. But I'm fast running out of stuff to shoot around the areas where I live and work.
