Canary Wharf has many tall and impressive buildings, the recent trend being the use of a lot of glass. It is, however, a bit ironic that each company competes to have a "unique" looking building, such that none really stands out anymore. And have you ever noticed how the different designs don't actually compliment each other? There's a montage of different shapes, materials and sizes. In this photo, the curves of the Canary Wharf DLR station is in stark contrast to the straight rectanges of Canada Square.
