This is the domed roof of the Canary Wharf underground station. The relatively dim lighting of the interior strongly contrasts with the very bright sky. Such a wide dynamic range is is challenging even for a DSLR to capture in RAW - as such, it's no surprise that parts of this scene are blown out, especially coming from a camera phone like the K800i.

Nevertheless, it looked ok (to me) as a black and white scene. If anything, the strong contrasts have made it more dramatic. So the next time you've got a blown out sky, you might want to "save" it by going to black and white too.
